On Tuesday, January 24, 2012, an Italian Crew Ship had hit a rock, and collapsed. This Italian crew ship is carrying 2,300 tonnes of diesel Fuel. On Tuesday, the Navy had blew a hole on the Third Floor of the Concordia, and enterded the ship to find bodies. Authorities are saying that it will take 28 days to clear the spilled 17 fuel tanks, to make it easier to find survivors.

It has been concluded that are 4,200 passengers, and the Captin, Francesco Schettino, had been accounted with blame of the accident. In court, Schettino had said that he brought the ship to shore to salute Italy, but did not see the rock. His lawyer, is now saying that part of the blame goes to his client. The lawyer is saying that the client was in touch with the Costa, and while the passengers were evacuating.
